February 1st // "Happiness is a Butterfly" - Lana Del Rey I still remember hearing this track for the first time when the album came out. The verse "The bar was hot, it's 2am, it feels like summer", is so stunning. Her voice is so light and makes such a simple lyric stand out each time I listen. The entire theme of this track is bittersweet in the sense that happiness is so fleeting and you never truly catch it. "Happiness is a butterfly, try to catch it like every night. It escapes from my hands into moonlight", this is just so stunning. The production makes me forget Jack Antonoff makes music with Taylor Swift. I have been trying to come up with a tattoo for almost 6 years and I think this song is the one for me. I literally had to make a reddit post about this song because I could not go on.
